Today we shoveled snow and cleaned off the car. I've had enough home time and I'm ready to go. This is the snowiest and coldest December in a while. Nature's icicles helped decorate the house.

CONVERSATIONS WITH MY FRIEND
My friend and I can talk for hours. We'd often miss our turn or linger over lunch catching up. We'd talk about people we knew, our families and even politics, but we rarely became philosophical. Lately though casual conversation will often turn to a more soul searching question. At the time. I make up an answer off the top of my head, but then spend additional hours considering the meaning of the question and a more personal answer. I don't know if it is age, health or closeness that prompts these inquiries, but I thought I would share them with you as they come up.
